Pensacola Wedding Photographer: Talesha + Chris… Seville Quarter March 23, 2009

Well… here are 2 more from Talesha + Chris’s wedding… they have been SO SO SO SO patient with me:) But she has to be…
she is my “sissin” (ya know…. sister + cousin = Sissin)…. Which really just means we are as close as sisters …lol

Anyhoo… I am off to get ready for a wedding tonight in downtown Pensacola and wanted to get a couple of pictures up for Talesha and Chris, she has been so patient waiting on me that I am feeling a weeee bit guilty :) So, I am posting a couple of pics so I can get back to being guilt free…lol we shot over 3000 images at her wedding, I now have them edited down to about 1300 or so, and her final cut will be around 800… so yeah, it takes a little time to get things done around here :)

So what if I am just now getting around to blogging about Christmas…. it’s my blog…lol get over it :)

1st of all I hope you all had a super duper merry christmas, I know we did :) Blade is officially the most spoiled little boy in the universe! Well anyhoo… here are the pics… enjoy… Jen

yep… his shirt says “my mommy rides” and below that there is a HARLEY… yep… I’m a harley momma :) well not really… I just happen to own a harley, I think to be considered a “harley momma” you need to dress the part… Could you see me in a bikini top and black leather chaps…..lol I just wear my blue jeans and sneakers when I ride… pretty dull huh??? lol

Blades cousin Kylar… I told him to jump on the bed (shame on me)- so he was super excited :)

Blades cousin Kaylin… this girl is like the energizer bunny… she keeps going, and going, and going…love you !

Blades cousin Kalista. We gave both the girls a digital camera for christmas and they loved them !
Especially Kalista… I don’t think it left her neck ALL DAY… love you too !

the one in this pic was mine when I was a little girl… cool huh?

Blades Aunt Stacey bought him these drums for Christmas… we get a show at least 5 times a day. Between the drums, the harmonica we gave him, and the real guitar his Aunt Talesha gave him there is no doubt that he is going to become a platinum ROCK STAR someday :)

Let’s see… where did it all begin? Let’s say around 1986??? so about 23 years ago ;)

April and I met at the Landmark Skating Rink in Pensacola… while we were still in middle school.
We hit it off almost immediately and for years we spoke on the telephone EVERY DAY, and
were together EVERY weekend :) I grew to love her mom and dad so much that I thought
of them as my parents away from home :) ooh the stories I could tell you.. her dad Wayne
was the craziest fella you would ever meet… and all those toys of his :) I miss him so much !

ok… before I start boohooing let me get on with it… April is my BFF, always has been and alwasy will be :)
I miss her too… she moved to Texas about 10 years ago… is that right? 10 years? She is living
it up in the fast lane and left poor little me here in P’cola…lol She rarely gets to visit home so we
keep in touch via email and phone about every week or so :) anyhoo… she came home for Christmas
this year … YEAH. So… here are some pics of her with her Niece Abigail… aren’t they both dolls?!?!?!?

Abigail is such a hoot… and always ready for the camera.. Look out world, she’s coming …lol

Pensacola Wedding – Lori + Tim January 6, 2009

I feel like I have known Lori for years :) From the first time we spoke on the telephone (for over an hour…lol) I felt as if I knew her… and I mean really knew her :) For anyone that knows Lori you know how strong and courageous she is… she is truly inspirational !!! and Tim… what can I say about him, hhmmmmmm… I guess FUN FUN FUN describes him perfectly ! Tim used to be Lori’s “mechanic” and the first time she met him she , well let’s say, he was not her favorite person in the world…lol Funny how things change… now they are MARRIED…lol

I love intimate weddings… and this one fits the bill !! Early in the morning… super close family and friends… a couple so in love…. great friends and family….. fresh air…. boardwalks….. wonderful food…. ahhhhhh : )

Marjorie wed at the Big Lagoon State Park… and it could not have been any nicer ! These two are just perfect for each other… I overheard someone teasing Marjorie that Stephen was going to smoosh cake into her face and she simply said” No, he’s not like that” and she was right – a complete gentleman that loves Marjorie SOOOO MUCH ! Lucky Gal :-)

Lori + Pete … engagement session downtown Pensacola December 18, 2008

OK you guys… it is time for you to meet one of my brides :)  welll… she is not quite a bride, I guess you call her a pre-bride :) She and Pete are getting married at Pensacola Beach next year … woohoo ! She is planning a super cool wedding so you will have to check back in April for all her details !

anyhoo… on to my FAVORITE PIC OF THE SESSION……………………………………..

We are walking down the street and I tell Lori and Pete to take a seat on the curb  – and I start shooting the pic above on the left… when we are finished they notice what they were sitting in front of…lol They never even saw it before we sat down:)  I had them hopping all afternoon… sit here…ooh over there… right here…lol I told Lori that they could bring a change of clothes and she decided against it … toward the end of the session ( and about 50 poses later) she said… well maybe I should have brought us a change of clothes :)
When I get out to do some portraits – I get out and do portraits :)

I love the pic on the right …. Pete is just awesome – so sweet and SUPER SEXY :)

ok… so Dani and I have a ton of stuff in common :)  we both love ruff and tuff little boys, BULLDOGS, little girls in leg warmers, COFFEE, and super cool kid names… Colton and Kenndy are Super Cool names… and i have been told my sons name is pretty cool too… his name is “Blade”…..lol  ooh, and I almost forgot.. my baby sisters name is Daniella… that is pretty close right?!?!?!?

Ok… here goes… this post is full of “I like them all” shots… meaning that I could not narrow down a couple of them…. so I just included them all :)

I could not decide which one I liked better… so I have officially decided that I like them both :)  The sun was SUPER BRIGHT … but that is ok… they are still SUPER COOL :)

Annie + Aaron… My Spayce Wedding – Pensacola Florida December 5, 2008

Drum roll please….. for a suuuuuper cool wedding….. Annie + Aaron. Now these 2 had their work cut out. They meshed together Annies Chinese culture with Aarons Jewish faith and they pulled it off ooh so well :) They had a great wedding coordinator, Joanne Kraus… their family just raved about how good she was at her job ! I will have to agree… everything was SMOOTH SAILING :) Annie and Aaron had their ceremony and reception at My Spayce in downtown Pensacola. I love the “old feel” to the venue… it is really cool ! ooh well… let’s see some pics :)

hhmm… I almost forgot my tidbits about jen :) (thanks to my bride Kim for reminding me… she stays on me pretty hard :) but it is for my own good…lol love ya girl:)  With every wedding I blog I tell a little something about myself and my life… just so all my brides can get to know me a little better since I know all of you so well :)

let’s see…..  My FIRST car… an orange beetle bug. I was IN LOVE with that car…lol Dad had it painted  teal green for me..:) All the electrical went haywire in it and my dad is NO MECHANIC..lol  so he put a toggle panel in the dash that I used to do everything with..lol  My horn was a push button on that panel, my blinkers was a dorky toggle switch too…lol  But it worked:)  my dad … the do it yourselfer:)

He lost both of his legs quite some time ago from diabetes (first one then a few months later the other) before he lost the second leg it was killing him sitting around and using a wheelchair… so  … out to the garage he went! He used a black connector pipe from one of those big wet/dry shop vacs and attached it to his stump… craziest thing you have ever seen…lol He looked like a 1 legged pirate ! But it got him around until he was fit with his prosthetic.

Engagement Session: Jennifer + Anton :) Palafox Pier Pensacola Florida November 24, 2008

so… Jen was googling the other day for a wedding photographer in Pensacola and stumbled upon us :) WOOHOO !!!!!! Anyhoo… we scheduled an engagement session and wow… take a look at them !! HOT HOT HOT and SMOKIN HOT !!!

Jennifer knows how to work the camera :) Isn’t she absolutely amazingly beautiful :!:!:!:!:!:

Do you see that laugh – the one on the right?!?!?!? That is what they do just about everytime they snuggle into each others arms… Anton is mad about Jennifer – it is so easy to tell !!!!!

YEP… there are those smiles again :)

We have been waiting for a couple to do this with… and BAM – perfecto :) How cute are they?!?!?!?!?!?

OF COURSE I LOVE THIS ONE !!!!! I love it EVERY time we do it !

These two are so CUTE :) They met at Pensacola Christian 4 years ago and the rest is … well you know… ancient history ;-) Anton proposed to Jennifer at the Palafox Pier a couple of weeks ago. These 2 are full of good stories… here goes one…. Anton was actually LOST in downtown Pensacola some time ago and stumbled across the Palafox Pier…lol He took Jennifer there to show her and PROPOSED :) Now it can’t get much better than that ! Love these next 2… Woddy has a Harley back home… so they rented a Harley Cruiser while in town. Woody said he rented it for Stasi to get a chance to “fall in love” with it…lol Since he is buying one when he retires !!! I don’t think you’ll have to worry Woody… you def. have a Harley Momma on your hands :)

SO… I was on Pensacola Beach last weekend at a salon for some wedding “getting ready” shots and I ran into these 2 :)  and i am OOH SO GLAD I DID !!!  They were next door to the salon renting some scooters to cruise around in and they caught my eye ! I can normally spot lovebirds a mile away – and these two fit that bill…lol

from Jen: My nephew Kelan is 4 years old … woohooo November 7, 2008

Kelan had a super cool pirate birthday party at the Perdido Kids Park… We had a super busy day that Saturday so we had to cut our visit super short – but i was able to get a few cake pics, Kelan pics, and Blade pics ! I hated that we had to leave … but like I said before – WE LOVE OUR BRIDES :)

I am the OFFICIAL CAKE DECORATOR in my family – I typically do character cakes (mickey, diego, blues clues..) but my sister has to always be difficult – Among 4 portrait sessions and 1 big wedding that weekend I had to make a pirate ship cake on Friday night. So what better time to make myself the OFFICIAL CAKE MAKER HELPER …lol  SO, my sister is in training – lol

This is the birthday boy… Kelan – For those of you that just love the “gangster” pic in my kids section – this is him… Wait until you see his costume from this year – it is Captain Hook of course…lol

And of course I have to add my own little monster… take a look in the window at the top of the slide :)

WOW… I have known Staci FOREVER… and EVER ;-) I met her when she was still in High School… she was so sweet back then… boy how things have changed…lol just kidding !!!

Michael and Bailey – Bailey is SO COOL ! She hunts with Michael – I am so not a hunter so I hope I dont make a complete fool of myself while I explain – Michael brought along some decoy ducks for Bailey to retrieve – the water was SO COLD – but she loved it :) She is a super sweetheart and very obedient – she waits for Michaels approval before even budging for her prize :) I love this shot of them together – I think it might be my fave from the day !
